Favourite album part1: Triple J Like a Version

There is a wonderful thing in Australia called Triple J, the radio station. And Triple J does love music, celebrates music and sometimes even create something special. They play wide range of styles and artists from heavy metal to punk, from electro to pop. Just like they did with the "Like a Version" series. "Like version" was originaly a segment on Triple Js Mel in the Morning shows., now its heard in the afternoons.
What makes "Like a version" so unforgetable? It involves Australian, and more recently, international artists playing live, acoustic versions of some of their favourite songs. They ad, they take, they change, and perform creating something absolutely amazing. And of course, they released cd's about this show. My favourite version is the latest, 3rd release. With the following playlist:

Ben Folds - Such Great Heights
Sharon Jones - This Land Is Your Land
Eskimo Joe – Hey
Josh Pyke – The House At Pooh Corner
The Magic Numbers – Crazy In Love
Bob Evans - Beautiful To Me
Mattafix – Boulevard Of Broken Dreams
The Bellrays - Highway To Hell
Shout Out Louds – Streams Of Whiskey
Pivot – Woman
Custom Kings – Boys Of Summer
Subaudible Hum – Africa
Gomez - Breakfast In America
Blue King Brown – You Don’t Love Me (No No No)
The Kill Devil Hills – Look At Miss Ohio
The Zutons – Runaway
Macromantics – Jump
Broken Social Scene - Kennel District
Angus & Julia Stone – Tubthumping
Something For Kate - Rock The Casbah

Here is one of my favourites: Something for Kate performing "Rock the Casbah" from The Clash!
